The figures, according to the Halifax House Price Index, put the average price in December 2013 as £173,467 down from £174,910 in November. However, from December 2012 – December 2013 there was a 7.5 per cent increase in the average house price. There was also a 1.9 per cent increase quarterly from the previous three months. Martin Ellis, housing economist, said: ‘Mounting signs that the economic recovery is becoming firmly established, together with a predicted decline in unemployment, should further boost consumer confidence over the coming months. De nieuwe corporatie zonder bezit en vermogen.
Een van de belemmeringen bij de vernieuwing van het corporatiebestel is de corporatie in de huidige vorm. Een vehikel die het historische gezien mogelijk goed heeft gedaan, maar nu echt eerder beperkend is. Het gaat nu om een corporatieconcept dat in staat is de volkshuisvesting naar een voor deze samenleving passend antwoord te beiden om de woonvraag. Het is dus een gedachte experiment. Het zou kunnen zijn dat het een virtuele werkplaats is van ideeen en projecten. Afhankelijk van de vraag wordt de werkplaats ingericht om antwoorden te vinden en die dan uit te werken naar een concreet project. Graag zou ik met u van gedachten willen wisselen en kijken of het mogelijk is een echt bezitloze corporatie te organiseren. United Kingdom house prices rose 1.4 per cent last month as consumer confidence returned across the country, according to estate agent Haart, but it warned the property market is still constrained by a chronic supply shortage. Haart said on Monday that average house prices stood at £202,238 in July, 1.4 per cent higher than the previous month and 3 per cent higher than during July 2012. The estate agent said total new buyers were up 27.9 per cent on the year but new properties for sale were down 4.4 per cent, which constrained actual sales to a 3.5 per cent increase. ‘Far too properties are coming onto the market,’ said Paul Smith, chief executive officer of Haart. ‘House builders either need encouragement from the centre to build or more existing home owners seeking to buy need to instruct agents to unclog the market,’ he added. Ik wist niet dat corporaties financiële instellingen zijn, maar dan nog. weblog Meeste vertrouwen in accountants, minste in woningcorporaties AMSTERDAM - Consumenten staan wantrouwend tegenover financiële dienstverleners. Bij geen enkele beroepsgroep heeft meer dan 20 procent van de Nederlanders alle vertrouwen in eerlijkheid en integriteit van de bestuurders. Pensioenfondsen en woningcorporaties komen er het slechts vanaf. Dat blijkt uit een rapport van onderzoeksbureau MarketResponse waarbij 1200 mensen om hun mening gevraagd werd. Bij pensioenfondsen ,woningcorporaties, banken en verzekeraars geeft meer dan de helft van de ondervraagden aan weinig tot geen vertrouwen te hebben in deze organisaties. Volgens MarketResponse noemen consumenten daarbij hoge salarissen, bonussen en risicovolle producten als reden om weinig vertrouwen te hebben in leidinggevenden van deze organisaties.
